از روزگاری كه دو دانشجوی دوره دكترای دانشگاه استنفورد تصمیم گرفتند كه لینك‎های مورد علاقه خود در اینترنت را در صفحه‎ای مخصوص نگهداری كنند، تا دورانی كه حاصل كار آنان برای میلیون‎ها كاربر اینترنتی مرجع مطمئنی محسوب شد، زمان زیادی نگذشت. شاید حداكثر سالیانی به تعداد انگشتان یك دست؛ و این ایام برای تبدیل یك پروژه دانشجویی به شركتی بزرگ و چندملیتی، بسیار سریع و برق آسا به حساب می‎آید؛ تا آنجا كه اگر عده‎ای آن را غیرقابل باور بدانند، شاید حق داشته باشند.

• آغاز ماجرا

در سال ۱۹۹۴ ، درست چهارده سال پیش، دو دانشجوی دوره دكترای مهندسی مكانیك و الكترونیك در دانشگاه استنفورد، شروع به جمع آوری لینك‎های مورد نظر خود در اینترنت كردند و برخی راهكارهای ساده را برای دسترسی سریع و آسان از این فهرست به سایت‎های اصلی ابداع كردند. ابداعات آنها بیشتر در آن جهت بود كه به صفحات حاوی لینك‎های مورد نظر آنها «عمق» بیشتری داده شود، چرا كه مدت‎ها قبل، آنها لینك‎های مورد علاقه خود را در فهرستی جمع آوری كرده بودند ولی به مرور زمان این لیست بسیار بلند و «سطحی» شده بود. در فهرستی كه آنها تهیه كرده بودند، لینك‎های جالب اما نامربوط در كنار هم نشسته بودند و این مانند آن بود كه در یك دفتر تلفن، تمامی نام‎ها و شماره‎های مورد نیاز، بدون هیچ ترتیبی در كنار هم قرار گیرند. آنها برای حل این مشكل شاخه‎هایی (categories) را تشكیل دادند تا جست‎وجو آسان‎تر باشد و به تدریج كه این شاخه‎ها هم شلوغ شدند، به زیرشاخه‎ها (Subcategories) تبدیل شدند. بدین ترتیب، هسته وب سایت معظمی كه امروزه به نام YAHOO! شناخته می‎شود، متولد شد، هرچند كه در آن سال نه به این نام، بلكه با عنوان خودمانی «راهنمای تار جهان گستر جری و دیوید» شناخته می‎شد. نام yahoo، كه بعداً برای این راهنمای تار جهان گستر انتخاب شد، برخلاف گمان بسیاری، نه یك اصطلاح یهودی یا ژاپنی، بلكه تركیبی از حروف اول كلمات (acronym) تركیب نامتعارف (Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle) است. «یاهو» كه مشخص بود قرار نیست صرفاً یك راهنمای تار جهان گستر باشد و مبدل به پایگاهی برای داده ها (database) شده بود نخستین بار فقط بر روی دو كامپیوتر، به عنوان ایستگاه‌‎های كاری (workstation) راه‎اندازی شد، اما در مدتی كوتاه مورد توجه و استقبال قرار گرفت و تمام این اتفاقات در عرض كمتر از یك سال به وقوع پیوستند. اكنون دیگر ثابت شده بود كه علاقه به یك فهرست منظم از لینك‎ها و آدرس‎های اینترنتی یك علاقه عمومی در فضای وب است و ابتكار فیلو و یانگ هر روز بیش از پیش، كاربران را به خود جذب می‎كرد. افزایش تعداد بازدیدكنندگان از یاهو چنان سیری تصاعدی به خود گرفت كه در پاییز سال ،۱۹۹۴ یعنی فقط چند ماه پس از راه اندازی آزمایشی «راهنمای تار جهان گستر جری و دیوید»، شمارشگر هیت (hit) این سایت از مرز یك میلیون گذشت و نشان داد كه دست كم ۱۰۰ هزار بازدیدكننده (visitor) طی این مدت به این سایت مراجعه كرده‎اند.

• سال‎های پرماجرا

پدیدآورندگان یاهو، در موقعیتی بسیار جدی و امیدواركننده قرار گرفته بودند. آنها دریافته بودند كه محصول علمی و تكنیكی آنها توانایی بالقوه‎ای در جذب سرمایه و در نتیجه توسعه دارد و از این موقعیت به خوبی استفاده كردند. مارك اندرسون از كمپانی معروف «نت اسكیپ» از آنها دعوت كرد تا با توجه به رشد بی‎وقفه مراجعان یاهو، پایگاه داده‎های خود را به سرورهای بزرگ‎تری در كالیفرنیا منتقل كنند و این شروع یك سری تعامل‎های ارزشمند میان نت اسكیپ و یاهو بود. اما یانگ و فیلو كه موقعیت منحصر به فرد یاهو را درك كرده بودند، به این قناعت نكردند و با صاحبان صنایع مهمی چون اپل، آتاری، اوراكل و سیسكو دیدار و برای همكاری‎های گوناگون گفت‎وگو كردند. حاصل این رایزنی‎ها، سرمایه‎ای دو میلیون دلاری بود كه باعث رشد كمی و كیفی یاهو شد و حتی فیلو و یانگ را به صرافت اجیر كردن تیمی برای «مدیریت» یاهو انداخت، كه به تبع آن، تیم كوگل (Tim koogle)، یكی از دانش آموختگان گروه مهندسی استنفورد و یكی از خبرگان موتورولا و جفری مالت، یكی از موسسان ناول به عنوان مدیران اجرایی به استخدام یاهو درآمدند. در پاییز ۱۹۹۵ سرمایه گذاران موسسه رویترز و سافت بانك هم در یاهو سرمایه گذاری كردند. در سال ۱۹۹۶ یاهو با ۴۹ كارمند، یك شركت موفق و بزرگ ارزیابی می‎شد

• تنوع خدمات

از آن سال‎ها به بعد، اضافه شدن خدمات مفید و عمدتاً رایگان به یاهو به صورت امری معمول درآمد و همین امر، به علاوه سادگی، جامعیت و كم حجمی صفحه اول سایت یاهو، باعث شد كه بیشتر كاربران اینترنت صفحه پیش فرض مرورگران اینترنت خود را هم به آدرس این سایت تغییر دهند. امكانات ارزشمندی چون چت، پست الكترونیكی، اخبار، پیش بینی وضع هوا، گالری عكس، راهنما، بازی و ده‎ها مورد دیگر كه همگی توسط یاهو فراهم شدند و در صفحه اول این سایت لینك آنها به صورت متنی و یا با نماد گرافیكی بسیار ساده‎ای در دسترس قرار گرفتند، به علاوه موتور جست‎وجوی قدرتمند یاهو، باعث شد، این سایت انتخاب اول بسیاری از كاربران اینترنت باشد. با این حال، خدمات یاهو منحصر به امكانات تحت وبی كه نام برده شد، نماند و برخی از نرم‎افزارهای كاربردی آن نیز محبوبیت‎های ویژه‎ای داشتند كه مشهورترین آنها مسنجر یاهو (yahoo messenger) بود كه در نوع خود، انقلابی در زمینه تسهیل ارتباطات اینترنتی محسوب می‎شد و یكی از پركارترین نرم افزارهای دنیای كامپیوتر در سایه همین خدمات متنوع، ساده و غالباً رایگان است كه تعداد مراجعان به یاهو آنچنان بالاست كه آگهی دهندگان را به سمت خود كشیده و سود هنگفتی را نصیب صاحبان آن كرده و می‎كند. وقتی كه فقط در آوریل ،۱۹۹۷ یك میلیارد بازدید از صفحات مختلف این سایت صورت گرفته باشد، تكلیف در سال‎های بعد كه به شدت به تعداد كاربران اینترنت افزوده شد، روشن است و چنین واقعیتی یعنی هجوم آگهی دهندگان و اسپانسرها.

• دست بالای دست

هرچند كه كمپانی‎های عظیمی قصد رقابت با یاهو را داشتند و در این راه سرمایه هنگفتی را نیز هزینه می‎كردند، اما هیچیك نتوانستند فاصله خود را با یاهو از میان بردارند. به عنوان مثال مایكروسافت، با تمام تلاشی كه به مدد سرمایه، اعتبار و دیگر رانت‎هایی كه همواره از آن برخوردار بود (نظیر مرورگر IE) به كار برد، هرگز نتوانست به موقعیت یاهو دست یابد. صفحه اول سایت آن (www.msn.com) نسبتاً سنگین و شلوغ بود، موتور جست‎وجوی آن در مقایسه با موتور جست وجوی یاهو كند می‎نمود و پست الكترونیك آن نیز قابلیت‎ها و سرعت پست الكترونیك یاهو را نداشت. حتی جالب آنكه در زمینه نرم‎افزارهای كاربردی (كه مایكروسافت متخصص آن بود) نیز، مسنجر مایكروسافت (msn messenger) هرگز نتوانست به جایگاه منحصر به فرد مسنجر یاهو نزدیك شود.

قاعدتاً، وقتی مایكروسافت در این زمینه توان رقابت با یاهو را نداشت، تكلیف سایر رقبا روشن بود. اما اوضاع بر همین منوال نماند و یك رقیب تازه نفس، در كمال حیرت، توانست در طول مدت كوتاهی در مقابل یاهو قد علم كند و آن چیزی نبود مگر Google! گوگل سادگی و سرعت را به كمال رسانده و به جرات می‎توان گفت سریعترین و بهترین موتور جست‎وجویی است كه تاكنون در فضای اینترنت ظهور كرده است. علاوه بر این چیزی كه گوگل را به سرعت محبوب كرد نه به دلیل جمع آوری مجموعه‎ای از لینك‎ها بود (مثل یاهو) بلكه دقیقاً خلاف آن، یعنی عاری بودن صفحه اصلی آن از هرگونه لینك و یا تبلیغ بود. چیزی كه تا به امروز نیز باقی مانده و هر چند امكانات فراوانی به گوگل اضافه شده، ولی صفحه اول آن همچنان عریان می‎نماید!

• تلنگر

بی شك سرازیر شدن بسیاری از مراجعان یاهو به گوگل، مسئولان این سایت را نگران ساخته و آن را در پی چاره جویی واداشته است. یكی از نمونه‎های این ادعا، رقابت در افزایش گنجایش میل باكس پست‎های الكترونیك رایگان بود كه پس از آنكه گوگل، برای كاربران Gmail (پست الكترونیكی رایگان گوگل منتها با دعوتنامه) یك گیگابایت درنظر گرفت، یاهو نیز سریعاً اعلام كرد كه میل باكس پست‎های الكترونیك رایگان خود را افزایش می‎دهد و در دو مرحله تا ۵۰۰ مگابایت را برای هر كاربر درنظر گرفت، كاربرانی كه قبلاً ۴ یا ۶ مگابایت فضا در اختیار داشتند! در آخرین اقدام یاهو موتور جست‎وجوی خود را بهسازی اساسی كرده است و امید آن دارد تا بخش دیگری از كاربران را به خود جذب كند. كاربرانی كه گوگل اصلاً قصد رها كردن آنها را ندارد!

The intro to the basic weight loss mistakes made me think of a phone conversation I had with a girlfriend of mine back in July.  She was annoyed she was seeing no visible signs of weight loss after having started a walking program.  She was also annoyed that she was seemingly winded when keeping up with a 22 year old.  She and I are both over 40 so the winded part did not surprise me.  I can't keep up with my 21 year old daughter when we run together. 

But back to Reece's blog and what caught my attention.  The very first weight loss mistake mentioned was getting enough sleep.  This sort of threw me as I couldn't figure out why it was essential to weight loss until I read further. 

After a very short period of time (about 6 nights), studies show that your glucose levels can rise if you get only 4 to 7 hours of sleep each night. New parents are excluded, but everyone else should try to hit the 8 hour mark as often as you can and get to bed BEFORE midnight. Every hour of rest before 12 a.m. is twice as valuable as the hours after midnight: Our cortisol levels are lowest before midnight therefore our recovery is the highest.

These few facts are probably a big issue in why a lot of women cannot figure out why they are not losing weight.  Few women - I have noticed but truly have no scientific evidence to back this up - get eight hours of sleep.  This could be because we are trying to work our own fitness into a schedule already laden with work and family responsibitlities.  There is no way to add hours to a day so how do we get enough sleep.  Usually, it means "depriving" ourselves of something. 

As with working fitness itself into our lives, sleep has to be a priority.  If you need to schedule when you sleep, do so.  If you find yourself only getting four to six hours of sleep a night, think of your health - and sleep will do more than help with weight loss - first.  Without a healthy you, a lot of other parts of life suffer.

Some of the other basic mistakes are more common sense - eating fewer refined and processed foods, avoiding sugary drinks, reaching for more water.  A few of the items further down the list include getting to know your kitchen.  You cannot eat fewer refined foods if you do not know your kitchen.  Not only can you control what you and your family are eating if you know your kitchen, you can also turn the kitchen into a communication center.  This is way it was in my grandmothers' homes.  When family came, we always - whether I am talking about my mom's mom or my dad's mom - ended up in the kitchen talking while someone was cooking.  Communication does not always have to be across the family dinner table but can be in the kitchen itself.   

Can you think of other basic errors we can all be making in our weight loss journeys?

6. Tutup jendela registry editor lalu jalankan YM Anda ^^

7. Jalankan lagi YM nya, eh sekarang Anda bisa login dengan ID YM Anda yang lainnya pada sebuah komputer sepuasnya.

Although his news feed feature was massively controversial, it has arguably been the single most used feature on Facebook since the day it was added. I would venture to guess that most avid Facebook users have long since come to terms with the feeling of their privacy being invaded by the feature, and instead they see the news feed as an indespensible part of why they continue to return to Facebook.

We still don’t know what it represents specifically, but, does it remind you of some things? Well, the most obvious reference is the colors. It has 4 different colors, just like the letters in the Google logo: blue, red, yellow and green. Where else do you see them? The game Simon has them, even the general shape, but Chrome’s icon has a more modern look. There are three surrounding colors instead of 4, plus the main circle in the center. A circle has 360 degrees, as circular as the Firefox logo. Google borrowed source code from the creators of Mozilla Firefox. Chrome will also add the ability to use Firefox’s add-ons in the near future.

Now, why does it look like a Pokéball? Ash (Satoshi in Japan) and Google have something in common. Ash’s famous slogan can perhaps explain Google’s goals: Gotta catch’em all. The competition between Google against Microsoft and Yahoo in many different areas is a sign of how powerful the company currently is and wants to be. Besides the search engines, they have instant messengers, e-mails, blogs, video-sharing sites, photo storage, maps, etc. The competition doesn’t seem to end. Last but not least is the webcam. Google may not look at us through our webcams, but it can look at everything we do in their sites and their affiliates’. At least, they protect the users’ privacy more than its competitors do, it seems.
