Big Brother US S10E19 (CBS)

During the HOH comp, the HM are slammed into walls. Renny was happy that April left. She was her target after all and the HM respected her wishes. Keesha doesn't know how Ollie will be able to deal without April. Some green and black balloons were fastened to the wall. The HM were able to grab them and throw them at their opponents. The rope was cutting into Jerry's groin. He's the first one out after 41 minutes. He can't walk. He's just laying there. Memphis was going for Ollie with a balloon, but it struck Michelle's face. She was pissed.

After about an hour, Keesha is out. Memphis wasn't impressed. After two hours, Michelle is out. It's between Memphis, Dan and Ollie. After 3 hours and 20 minutes, Memphis is out. Every time that they are in the rain, Ollie is shaking. Dan is hoping that this will be enough to get him off. Ollie says that he doesn't want to go home. Dan plans on making a deal so that most of the powers rest with Ollie. He gets to choose two people to be protected, a nominee and if the POV is used, to choose a replacement nominee. Dan is using this to make himself look weak. Ollie wants Michelle protected. Ollie falls for this ploy. It's an interesting strategy.

Keesha is talking to Memphis. Michelle and Ollie talk about the incredible deal that he got. Michelle has trouble believing it. Ollie thinks that there might something more to this deal. Dan should have asked for being safe. He kind of tipped his hand.

Memphis and Keesha are talking with Renny about the apparent deal that Dan made with Ollie. They don't understand why he did this. The HM see Dan's HOH room. They see pictures of Monica, his girlfriend. Dan reads his letter from Monica. Dan plans on starting the fake tears in order to get some sympathy. Without a doubt, he's the strongest player in the house this season.

Renny asks Dan how many women he dated. Dan is evasive. He's doing it to piss her off.

Ollie goes to see Dan. He wants Memphis nominated. Dan thinks that this could be a huge mistake. He would be sending his closest ally home. Or he could just turn Memphis against him. Memphis tries to reason it out with Dan. Dan needs two votes in order to get his nominee out. If he nominates Memphis, he needs to be assured that Memphis would stay. Renny says that she wants Memphis gone, she doesn't trust him. Dan says that he is trying to get themselves further in the game. Keesha, Dan and Renny will be the final three. They need Memphis. That's what Dan tries to tell her.

Dan is trying to reason with Memphis. Memphis doesn't like the idea of being nominated. In the diary room, he feels that it's a betrayal of trust. Dan tries to convince Memphis, but he doesn't even seem convinced himself. In the HOH room, he's talking to himself. He thinks that he either nominates Ollie and Michelle, or tries to go with his deal and nominate Jerry and Memphis. It's a big risk either way.

Dan nominates Memphis and Jerry.

Are you ready for heroes season 3?

All you heroes fans will have to wait for a few more weeks before the new season of heroes entitled "Villains" will be aired on TV! Season 3 will premiere on September 22, 2008, but I sure hope we can see snatches of it in youtube because here in the Philippines, all we get are re-runs from season 1&2.

I try not to read on the Spoilers too much, for one thing, it gives me a headache wondering what will happen this season. The buzz is that there will be TWO more Petrellis that will be revealed, and some characters who we thought were dead will resurface this season.

Before season 2 ended, I was really scared that Sylar got his powers back. I still get the creeps when he gives that "I-would-love-to-eat-your-brain-look"

But you have to admit he is sexy in his own way. For those of you who are living under a rock, you really should grab a DVD copy of Heroes, and I tell you, you won't regret it!

1) So far I like John Green's An Abundance of Katherines. I put off reading it because I loved Looking for Alaska so much, I really didn't see how he could write anything else as good and I hate being disappointed.

2) Hellboy. I was dragged to this and I was anticipating the heavy boredom of Ironman (I don't care how good an actor RDJ is that film was dull!). Hellboy is fabulous. Beautiful and mythical, a modern day fairytale, except the beast remains a beast. I highly recommend it and don't be put off if you haven't seen the first one and it doesn't matter. Also I really want hair like Liz's now, even though I doubt I could pull it off I am very tempted.

3) TV!!! I think there might be many, many tv posts in the future. What can I say, TV is my addiction, along with shoes, books, chocolate and little cute things that clutter up the surfaces in your house. At the moment apart form all my old favourites I'm really looking forward to Fringe, JJ Abrams new X-filesesque show and Privileged.

4) Renaissance Fayre. Unless Tropical Storm Hanna keeps pouring rain on us, we're going to a Renaissance fayre this weekend. I'm very excited, it's very American. I don't know if they do similar things in the UK actually but it feels American.

5) Still can't breath through my nose. It's highly unpleasant.

During his speech to the HM, Dan didn't mention who proposed the money. It was April, but Jerry was very happy that Dan didn't her up on her offer.

Michelle wants to know who offered the money. Neither Rachel or Keesha know. Michelle talks with Dan. He doesn't say anything. Michelle thinks that Jerry offered the money. She wants him out.

Keesha tells her alliance that she isn't changing her vote. She wants April gone.

April is commiserating with Ollie. She says that she hasn't done anything. She knows that she has Ollie's vote. She knows that she hasn't got Keesha's vote. She thinks that she can swing Dan.

Ollie and April talk with Michelle. They offer a deal if she can get Dan's vote. Michelle says that she has to vote with the house, otherwise she will become a target.

Ollie talks with Dan. Dan hears him out but doesn't promise anything. April talks with him a bit later. April offers her money for his vote. Dan says that he will think about it.

Recently, Ollie asked April what would she think if they lived together. April was worried about what Ollie's parents would think. April tried to discourage him by saying that there were a lot of people like her in Arizona. Ollie said that his parents would be fine with it. Plastic Chen cuts to a VT about Ollie's parents. April's twin sister Angella says that April has always been the dominate one. There was a marriage proposal by Ollie at some point. Ollie tells that he's been with April for 54 days. He's moving all of this stuff in with April. April retorts that her door will be always open for him. Ollie replies what if it is forever. She says that she would do it forever. She whispers that she wants Ollie to live with him.

During the HOH interview, Renny says that she has been weary for Memphis since the beginning. He's shrewd and needs to be more respectful. He thinks that he has already won the game. Renny would like to see him gone.

With a vote of 4-1, April is evicted out of the BBUS house. April tells Plastic Chen that she didn't understand why Keesha turned on her.

Tonight's competition to become HOH involves an endurance test. They have to hang on a vine. For some reason, Dan was wearing a jacket with a cap. It comes in handy. The vines are first drenched in water. Then they are raised into the air.

Renny nominated April and Jerry. Today, we will see if the POV will be won. Renny says that April is her target. It was stupid of her to nominate Jerry. She should have just taken out Ollie as well. This means that if they both compete in the POV comp, they stand a good chance of winning.

Dan thinks that Renny might have done a secret deal with Ollie, that may be why he isn't nominated. April is crying. Ollie doesn't want her to be like this. April says that the HM need to see her vulnerable. Ollie doesn't like that comment. He knows that she is a game player.

Keesha comes to see Renny. Renny says that no one should feel safe. The Kernel is talking to himself. Ollie walks in on this.

Dan, Keesha and Ollie play with April, Jerry and Renny in the POV comp. Renny chooses Michelle as a host. April is pretty happy. That's the one name that Dan didn't want to see. He tells Keesha and Memphis that Ollie might not even go up if either April or Ollie will win the POV. Memphis thinks that Renny is a loose cannon. Dan thinks that either Memphis or himself will get nominated.

It's time for the POV comp. It's filled with Madagascar hissing cockroaches and pythons. It's a haunted house themed POV comp. The HM have to memorize what they see. The first player to 3 pts wins the POV. The first question has to do with how long the snake is. Once the guesses are revealed, the HM have to either stay or fold. If they fold, they are out and can't win a point. The one who stay get to earn point. The furthest from the answer is eliminated from the POV. Jerry wins the first round. Jerry wins the second round. April is out. In the third round, Jerry decides to play it safe. He takes himself out, but if he would have stayed, he would have won the round. Keesha is out and Dan gets 1pt. In the forth round, Dan is confident that he read the Kernel and Ollie well enough that he knows how it will go down. He guessed correctly that both Ollie and Jerry will fold. Dan gets 1pt. In the fifth round, all three players stay in. Dan wins POV.

April still has $10K in gold bars that she can use to bribe the HM. She still has $5K left. Who got the rest? Jerry.

Dan is thinking about using the POV on Jerry to get Renny. He talks with Jerry in the storage room. Jerry says that his loyalty will be for Dan.

Dan says that Ollie might put Memphis or himself if he's HOH. They need to get him out. Dan would rather make a move than get screwed.

Dan wants Renny to cut his hair. Dan wants to pray. Renny is getting aggravated. Dan, April and Michelle watch.

The HM are surprised to find a smaller dining table waiting for them. April talks with Dan. She wants to know if Jerry offered him a deal. She says that she can assure him neither her or Ollie will come after him. She can also offer him some cash. Dan needs to talk with Renny. He wants to know why she didn't nominate Ollie. He asks her what would she do if he would take Jerry off. She thinks that she would consider him a traitor. She wants him to keep the nominations the same.

Dan doesn't use the POV and keeps the nominations the same. He does tell everyone that April offered him money to take her off the block.

Neste domingo, dia 07, a TV Globo exibirá o ‘Estação Globo Especial’, com apresentação de Ivete Sangalo, e trará uma reedição do DVD ‘Ivete: Ao Vivo no Maracanã’.

O DVD foi um sucesso tão grande, que está sendo revisitado e decidimos colocá-lo no ar", comenta o diretor de núcleo Marcos Paulo. Para o especial, a cantora retornou ao Maracanã e gravou depoimentos relembrando os momentos que viveu no estádio.

A baiana abre o show com “Abalou”, seguido de “Festa”, “Sorte Grande” e “Não Quero Dinheiro”. No segundo bloco, Ivete traz “Berimbau Metalizado”, “Flor do Reggae” e “Não vou ficar”, com participação de Samuel Rosa. Em seguida, Saulo, da banda Eva, divide o palco com a anfitriã apresentando “Não Precisa Mudar”. Ivete encerra o bloco com “Ilumina”.

No terceiro bloco, é a vez de uma participação internacional: Alejandro Sanz canta “Corazón Partío”. Na seqüência, Durval Lelys entra no palco com “Bota Pra Ferver”. Entre as baladas, Ivete traz três hits seguidos: “Quando a Chuva Passar”, “Se Eu Não Te Amasse Tanto Assim” e “Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar”.

O último bloco começa com a participação do cantor Bochecha, com “Nosso Sonho”. A baiana apresenta ainda “Poder” e encerra o ‘Estação Globo Especial’ com “País Tropical”, “Arerê” e “Taj Mahal”.

It's time for the final. We see the old HM. Dale is no longer going out with Jen. Luke and Bex are still going out.

Sara and Rex are at the ashtray. She says that she has really warmed up to Darnell lately. She would really like Darnell to win. Mikey and Rachel are in the bedroom. Mikey says that he came to the BBUK house to watch it while he was here.

All of the HM are at the dining table having a farewell dinner that BB provided. For some reason, Darnell has got an eye patch on. It seems that he was stung by a wasp. The HM make speeches about their time in the house.

The HM are dancing, but Rex is pissed that they only got a bottle of champagne.

Darnell finishes 5^th. He is greeted by a chorus of boos. I hope it scars him psychologically. For some reason Darnell is wearing a white skirt and is idiotic hoodie. Darnell is shown footage of how miserable he was in the house. Davina wonders why he went into Bad Darnell mode. She says that Darnell was cruel to Sara.

Rex finishes 4^th. Rex is greeted by a bigger chorus of boos. Rex is shown footage of how he made fun of the HM at their expense.

Sara finishes 3^rd. She is greeted by cheers. It's a very good reception. The paparazzi are screaming after her. Davina tells Sara that Darnell obviously fancies the pants off her. Sara says that she does like Darnell.

The winner is Rachel. That totally sucks. Mikey is greeted by cheers. There are a few great moments in Mikey's best bits. The part where he eats hot peppers was especially hilarious. The other really funny bit was when he got hit by a ball in the head in the pool. It was hilarious. I watched it a few times.

Rachel's interview is shit.

I saw this infomercial a long time ago, and over the past few weeks it has repeatably been playing on TV. Possibly the weirdest infomercial for a product ever. Not only is it on TV everyday, t's almost gotten to the point where you can't ignore it. The announcer for the commercial is quite...interesting. Check it out. Epic Fail? or Epic Win?

It's out with the old and in with the new at the blog. I've moved to a different blog hosting site now (www.wordpress.com - v good), and hopefully you can all notice the aesthetic difference; I'm already reveling in all the new fun and games I can do as a 'webmaster'. Sadly, the one bad thing about moving sites is I've lost all your comments you've made about the entries. Ho hum. It's a good excuse for you all to make more on the new posts (or the old, whatever you please).

Well, last night 4.9 million saw Rachel Rice win 'Big Brother 9'. Good for her. She deserved to win. I have a passing interest in this series as I was the manners expert on Big Brother's Little Brother, the official fanzine show. For once I'm actually going to say something positive as I'm normally just on here, frantically bashing away the the keyboard typing some tirade and coming to the conclusion that life as we know it is awful and we should all go back to loving in the 1950s or even the Edwardian era. But, nevertheless, Rachel was well-mannered, logical and decent. A break from some of the past winners of the series. Rachel should be celebrated, lauded, canonized. My only fear is that the press will tire quickly of her and instead spend the next two months focussing on her fellow ex-housemates (mentioning no names) and bypass her as she's too 'normal'. Therefore, let's all go back to living in the 1950s.
